Poultry Shrink Bags – 12" x 16" (Package of 10)

Easily and securely package poultry with these durable shrink bags, designed for home processors and professionals alike. These 12" x 16" bags are ideal for birds up to an average weight of 11 lbs, depending on breed and feeding regimen.

Instructions for Use:

1. Heat a large pot of water to 180–195ºF, ensuring it’s large enough to accommodate the bird and water displacement.
2. Place the bird in the bag and remove as much air as possible by gently squeezing the bag ("give it a hug!") or sealing around a straw.
3. Dip the bagged bird into the hot water for 2–3 seconds.
4. Remove promptly, tighten the seal, and pat the bag dry with a towel.

Tip: Zip ties or hog rings work well for sealing shrink bags.

• 10" x 14" – Fits an average 5–6 lb bird*
• 12" x 16" – Fits an average 11 lb bird*
• 16" x 20" – Fits an average 20 lb bird*
